The IRMSA Risk Report: South Africa Risks 2023 will be launched in April 2023, a not to be missed event! This report synthesises risks data from various reputable risk sources including the WEF and provides a South African risk profile specifically informed by South Africa’s Economic Reconstruction and Recovery Plan and its goals that include, growing the economy, reducing the unemployment rate, increasing investment and reducing inequality.

The IRMSA Risk Report enables government and civil society to timeously identify and act to current and future threats and opportunities posed to South Africa, the continent and the world.  In the 2023 Report, as in our previous Reports, IRMSA re-affirms its unequivocal belief that proactive risk management is a key driver of our country’s ability to create a future in which all citizens can prosper.”

Until then, IRMSA reiterates the importance for risk practitioners to refresh their organisations risk profiles by re-performing risk assessments in those areas where the changes highlighted in the WEF report are the most significant.
